Free Sample: All songs no dongs

I created a playlist recently for car trips and I tried to name it Driving Songs.  I typed in Driving Dongs and just let it stay.  My wife and I were listening to it and a Yeah Yeah Yeah’s song came on.  My wife said:  “well, it’s not all dongs”.  It was the first song with a female vocalist.

I realized that the suggestions from various music services have a bias to recommend artists similar to the ones you’ve entered.  This is why I never really liked Pandora until I had created enough stations to reflect enough different music. I also felt that I needed to intentionally go out and find bands that have female members. I don’t mean all-female or even identify female, just support the artists and keep the variety alive.

The exciting finds in this playlist are Ida Maria, the increasingly popular Wet Leg from the Isle of Wright, and Amyl and the Sniffers (almost for the name alone).
